oooh, lavazza is one of my favorite brands of coffee. are you back home from your trip?
Oh, the ... sigh ... my brother and I (and, of course, my darling niece and nephew) stopped at a Lavazza cafe on this day, shortly before I left the continent. Sadly, I have never seen a Lavazza cafe in the States, very few places here are willing to pay the premium to serve it. I can smell the aroma coming off the photo.
One of the problems with having a phone that takes lousy pictures is that it is still too addictive not to mobile post (for me at least), but then you have to go back and post 'real' pictures...
My phone takes pictures that, generally speaking, aren't ... well ... you often can't tell what they are, and that's under good circumstances. Mind you, I love everything else about the the phone.

But I will admit that it's very funny having dinner with post-Vox Patty, because you can't eat until she's photographed your meal. (Yes, Patty, I'm making fun of you.)

I'm glad she does :)

You might not be able to handle a meal with the 4 of us. At one I think we had 3 cameraphones and 2 or 3 cameras out between the 4 of us. And that was even when Deb forgot her camera and didn't have a cameraphone yet...

I am now, but the coffee was at the airport before I left.

(Note to self: coffee before a 12 hour full flight in economy might not be a good idea. Not that it's necessarily the coffee's fault, but there wasn't a lot of sleeping.)

I would have to imagine that a meal with the four of you would be enough fun that I could deal with the camera phones.

Cooked with a friend tonight: Salmon with lentils, brocolleti sauted with squash and garlic, salad with an orange juice and vanilla bean reduction (great trick if you're making a meal and don't want the vinegar to conflict with the wine), angle food cake with berries, several good wines, and vodka hand carried home from Finland. And we forgot to take pictures! I meant to post them. We were proud to create a meal that was free of dairy, gluten, mammals, and onions to meet everyone's dietary needs. And it was still fabulous.
"I meant to post them..." Yeah right, you're such a food tease. A description like that and no pictures. I don't know...
We really did intend to photograph, but we actually timed everything perfectly. It all finished at the same time, and next thing I knew, it was being consumed.
