QotD: My Holiday Wish List
What's on your holiday wish list?
I actually did make a small list this year for my mother. She asked, I could think of a couple things right off the top of my head. I'm picky, and I was too afraid of getting something I just didn't want. I gave her part numbers and links to the exact products. What can I say, I like what I like and I know it.
Generally it is hard for me to make a wishlist because if I want something specific I've either already gotten it for myself, or it's way too expensive to ask anyone else to get for me.
- A Gorillapod:
I didn't know these existed until I saw one on my trip. A small flexible tripod that fits anywhere and can grip onto stuff. How cool!
- A macro lens converter for the new camera:
Because really, I just don't post enough closeups of food, flowers, or my cats as it is...
- And a bunch of books I've been meaning to get:
- Oh, and just in case anyone has one of these they're looking to get rid of, I'd be happy to take it off your hands:

Yeah, it just seemed like more of a Camera Christmas than a Food Christmas this year. (Except for the food-related books.) And a little bit of giving up.
Although I've got to run over to Bed Bath & Beyond tomorrow anyway, maybe the cleaver will be a present to myself...
