No, really, did anyone know there was a San Francisco Coffee Company? I didn't, and I've lived there almost 9 years. I had to come to Germany to find out. (And to get yelled at for taking these pictures...)
No idea where the intense need to listen to The Specials came from. Reminds me of my New Orleans days.
It is the second coffee for the day, which doesn't really bode well for my 'drink less caffeine' goal (not resolution). But I did mix my beans, so starting yesterday it's half regular half decaf (both Peet's Arabian Mocha-Java). So, does that cancel out the badness of having the second serving? Eh, who cares. It's so good.
How do you take your tea or coffee?

I think my coffee drinking habits have already been documented more than enough times here.

It's not as pretty as Scott's, but this does just fine:
Plus, it has the benefit of not requiring me to be properly dressed before having coffee.
Some days I'm good and just have one coffee in the morning. Other days, like today ~ faced with editing atrocious looking documents for work, warrant a second coffee beverage. The first is almost always hot, the second cold. Yum.
Watching the chocolate drip down the sides of the glass is kind of like watching a well-poured Guiness fall.
What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
Coffee. Coffeecoffeecoffee. Yay, coffee!
If I'm at home, it's usually something between a cappuccino and a latte with just a smidge of some kind torani syrup. Always deep-roasted Peet's beans. If it's afternoon coffee, then it turns into an iced mocha, but again with just a small amount of chocolate.
I'm not a big fan of the super sweet. Unless it's eating marshmallow fluff straight from the jar. And I stopped doing that years ago...
(Oh, and the new pic of the day feature (PotD?) looks fun! And the new ocean themes... Screw this coffee rambling, I need to go explore new Vox features now.)
Most of my kitchen things could go on the things I don't regret getting list, the good Henckels knives, a nice set of pots and pans, the hanging rack, and all the KitchenAid gadgets, but the best purchase has got to be the espresso machine. It gets used at least once a day. I live above a Starbucks, and when I moved in I thought about how expensive that could be. So I indulged in a good coffee maker. And it has been so worth it.
It wasn't exactly the one I wanted, and yes, it is Starbucks branded (under the fish stickers), but it is still made by a good company and feels pretty solid. I got it on Ebay, it was half the price of the Rancilio Silvia ,and it came with a good burr grinder.
I'm going to go make use of it now.
