Doesn't it sound dirty?

I just got an e-visa to the Kingdom of Cambodia in under 3 minutes.  Pretty cool.  Oh, and they only take PayPal.

I'm going to be in St Louis for 10 days in April for work.  Does anyone have any advice/recommendations for things to do/eat/see while I'm there?

I don't need any stupid toiletries telling what to wash or when to relax.  Jeez...

(Have I mentioned I have a problem with people/things telling me what to do?)

Meyerbeer coffee.  I noticed the name and started laughing when I was at the top of Peterskirche.  Named after the composer, but all I saw was the 'beer' part.

And a couple other leftover pictures from the Munich trip.

Strange little things, they remind me of tomatillos (maybe since they're closely related).  I've only had them once before ~ they left a few in our room each evening at the Hilton in Stockholm years ago.  I saw them at the market yesterday and didn't get any, but then they were at the grocery store as well and I couldn't resist.

Or 'Little Oktoberfest.'  It started on Friday and I wandered over yesterday to see what it was all about.  I didn't realize that Oktoberfest had such a carnival atmosphere to it.  I thought is was more just about the beer.  There was one big beer tent, but the bulk of the place felt like a county fair, with games and rides and junk food.

I still like Lilia's version of this way better, but it was a fun thing to test out the continuous shooting mode on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Because who doesn't need a good McBathroom now and then?  This one is in the Hauptbanhof, and was getting quite a bit of traffic.  I think I heard a news bit on these the other day...

I met them today, while crossing Marienplatz.

(A repeat, but with better pictures.)  After the market, I headed to Andechser am Dom for lunch.  I had the "Pellkartoffeln mit Andechser Kräuterquark und Lachstatar."  Mmmm.
